Default Attachments - How many can you add?

As the title says... A little while back I tried to upload just 1 or 2 attachments to a post but I got a message saying that I'd
'Exceeded my quota'

As I read it that means that I'm not allowed to post any new attachments until I delete some old ones.

Bottom line, what is the limit here? How many are we allowed to have in total? I've trawled around the site a fair bit but cant find an answer.

5 was the limit and I think they had to be a certain size otherwise you have to resize them. I don't know if that changed. I don't use that anyway because the attachments are so small. I use photobucket or something else so you can put up as may as you need to. There are alot different (better) ways to put your attachments up. I'm sure some others will see this and post up some good ways they do it to.

Happened to me last night. This seems to be something new. I had three pages of attachments. I deleted one whole page worth, and I'm still over quota, so I obviously was over quota before I uploaded the last ones. I have a feeling RcTech doesn't want to host files.

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. I had a number of pages of them also, deleted well over half and still over limit...

It does appear as though there's been a subtle change in policy. Which is ok, but I'd like it to be announced somewhere maybe? Just so we know.
