Does anyone know how to wire a 240 V AC to 12V DC converter (tranformer with diodes)? The codes on the connectors are: L-AC, N-AC, FG, GND, GND, +12V and +12V.
Kindest regards,
Lars.

Lars you might get a better response by posting in the Electric Onroad Section.

Also, to wire this up legally (and safely) in Australia, you will need to consult a licensed electrician, or an appliance repair person with a restricted electrical license.
If you decide to go ahead with it yourself, please be careful.

Thanks Ashley,
I'll post the message where you said, but I will most likely connect it up myself.
Thanks again, kindest regards,
Lars

I'll try to help here. The thing you have looks like a regulated 12V power supply. The L-AC stands for 'live',N-AC-neutral and FG are the grounding that comes out of the wall socket. After connecting, insulate the exposed connection.I use hot glue or silicon.
Both GND and 12V are output and they run in parallel.Hope this helps as I do arcade repair for living and deal with these everyday. The only difference is that arcade regulated power supply has a +5v and -5v output.
