Are the PM confirmation receipts deactivated?
I've sent a few PMs since the upgrade, and there is no are to see if they were read or not. I never liked the fact that you could previously deny someone's receipt completely, but eliminating them is WORSE.
It would be nice to know if the recipient ever got my message or not.

PM confirmation doesn't work me either. Also where's the Reply button?

Geographic location. Didn't the area you were from used to show up with your name? I notice no one has their geographic location showing anymore.

Ditto. With the structure of these forums, you have threads on one VERY general topic, and many with over 10,000 posts on the subject. There is NO POSSIBLE WAY to find anything in these forums without the Search Thread feature. I'm surprised it's taken this long to put it back into the forums, considering it's a stock feature in vBulletin.

Sounds reasonable, Shane, but when the upgrade happened, why were certain stock components of the vBulletin package dropped? Seems counterproductive to hack the software and then have to reconstruct stuff to make it all work properly, no?
For the most part, the available vBulletin package is pretty stout and has much of what most forums really need, with the exception of image resizers and advertising managers.
Just wondering. It would make all future upgrades far easier (and safer) if this system weren't so overly customized.
Keep up the good work, and take it from someone who knows—don't bite off more than you can chew with lofty goals and unreachable expectations from yourself. K.I.S.S always works best in stuff like this.

As I said, it was not intentionally dropped, it was because it was rushed towards completion and basically released before it was ready. Like anything there will be little bugs or things missed, when I am the only one doing any real QA work on it.
Had I not customized it, you would have seen just as many complaints from people about how the look changed too much, and on and on. Basically no matter what we do, people will complain about it in one form or another....
