I got a better chance of getting bit by a great white shark while rollerblading in in Minnesota sewage canal than the site getting fixed

I just read most of this thread and noticed it took about a month to fix the search last time. I have hardly ever posted on rctech but I love coming here for information and to buy vehicles. I simply trust it more than other places like fb. I seldom post because it’s almost always been asked and answered by someone else before me. I use the sites internal search function exclusively even though I’ve known about google type site:searches for 20 years. The forum search is just more accurate for me. I notice too that items here do not seem to sell as fast as they did a few years ago. I really hope this site remains operational as I do love coming here. It offers real value in these days of the free for all social media sites like fb.

Please Fix keyword search, come on. Even when trying to browse BST, to look for parts or cars.

Yup , bunch of issues here ,

- Search function is dead
- Mobile version randomly crashes
- Desktop version returns ArgumentCountError: 5 arguments are required, 4 given in ..../includes/functions.php on line 3127 on random threads so I can't read the lastest replies.

This is really recent too, maybe 2-3 days ?

Yep, noticed it a couple of days ago on my phone. Site is beginning to suck badly.

I noticed that there aren’t really any more “sponsored” threads. I once worked with a company who spent thousands advertising on this site. Now I think there’s only one. This is scary since advertising is where the money comes from. No sponsors means no money which means the doors are closing. Sad.

I’m just here to complain about the search function, as well.

also… why (when I first open this page (iPhone mobile. I don’t own a desktop; it’s 2022, not 1996)) does the browser zoom and and crop to the left of the screen? Does that happen to anyone else?

Hey everyone,

I'll be putting in a ticket to our tech team to take a look at the loss of search function. They had recently reached out to me regarding when it last went down and I thought it was already being looked at. That is a failure on my part.

I'll update when I know more.

-Myke

Edit: Will be including the buggy mobile version as well.

I just tried to like your post, and got an error. it's buggy as well. You might want to poke around a little and see what else needs looked at.
