Post Hi-Tec Challenger 250 2-ch 75Mhz Tx/Rx Radio

I would like to hear from ANYONE who might familiar with this transmitter. It was recently received as a gift (never used). Internet research shows this systems sells for about $30.00. So, in my opinion, it is likely a "beginner's radio system" and maybe very little has been done with/for it??

All suggestions what it could be used with, projects, modifications, schematic(s), etc., are VERY welcome. Internet searches for this item only showed links "For Sale" or "Reveiws"

I have built many balsawood airplanes (mostly with Futiba radios), and "kit" RC car systems over 20 years ago. I do; however, have an EXPERT knowledge of electronics and computers, so, "tech jargon" will NOT confuse me (but for others viewing this thread, we might want to keep it slightly simple out of respect where possible).

Thanks in advance to those viewing and/or replying!
