1/12 scale forum wiki not editable, needs update

Greetings,

The Wiki on the 1/12 forum is not editable, and has not been for at least six months. If needed, we can scrap it and start again with a saved version, if it is incompatible with the new site.

Do we have any way of fixing this easily or are we stuck?

Thanks

the 1/12 forum, the most popular single thread on this site:

https://www.rctech.net/forum/electric-road/37-1-12-forum-3126.html

You can access the wiki, and attempt to make a change in the editor, but it gives you this error message when you attempt to update it:

I cant post the error message because your site says that my post is less than one character long. What is going on here?

It says that its a database error, and that the rctech forum database has encountered a problem.

Thanks. We'll ad this Wiki to our existing ticket.

One month has passed.

There is an active ticket, I'll see if I can get them to work on this... Thank you for being patient!

This is reported as fixed! Sorry for the delay all!

DesertRat 12-27-2018 11:55 AM

They "Fixed" it removing the edit button. I can no longer find the link to editing the wiki, including in the "Inspect Element" option in Chrome.

Hmm I will ask them to look again.

It appears to be functional. Thanks.

We updated the permissions for the wiki, everyone should be able to edit it now. Let me know if any of you are still running into issues.
