Default For sale "points infraction system"

What are the specifics on the points system? How long until a point expires? How many points until something of consequence occurs?

they last 7 days after that they drop off, multiple infractions in a given time period may result in a suspension.

Great, thanks for the info! I didn't see anything in the for sale rules, maybe it could be added there.

And openly post how far people can push the rules before reaching a critical level, NO. Better that people are scared of future infractions and follow the rules. I'll tell you now that if you get 3,4,5 infractions in a short span, you're account is going to be suspended by the mod staff even if the automated system doesn't.

Word of advice, not just for you but for everyone. Worry more about how to avoid infractions vs. what the consequences are, and you won't have any issues with the Mod staff.

So you are going to develop and enforce a set of rules that you're not going to tell anyone what they are or the penalties for breaking them?

It's what I have gathered from this entire thread. I went and looked for these rules and don't see them posted anywhere?

Seriously....You have to really be trying to break the rules if you are going to see any of the consequences associated with the points infractions.

You bump your stuff more than once per 24 hours....thread gets deleted/you get a point (its in the f/s rules)

You are mean/disrespectful toward other members....you get a point (practice the golden rule)

Basically, don't be an idiot and follow the rules and you will never see any of the consequences.
