Default New Track Help

Hey guys and gals,

I was wondering if you guys can give our hobby shop some suggestions on how to get people intrested in racing on their new track. The only drawback is that they don't have a transponder system yet. They wanted to get races going so that we can get a system. In advance, thanks.

Default In the old days...lol

Back in the mid 80's when I use to run pan cars, we ran a format where someone monitored a computer and every time your car went by they would hit your number on the keyboard and give you a lap and time of lap, wasn't the best system but it worked. Who knows they may still have the software out there. With all the new transponders and things ya might even find it as a free download somewhere? Good luck and God bless.

go to allycat.com i think and you should be able to download a race program that uses manual timing. it is free and works a treat. good luck with your track.

See if you can make a huge TEAM HOLY ROLLERS sign to hang at the track, with the website and verse etc.

Ummm, that alleycat thing sounds cool.

But you might want to check your link there.

I use to run at a track without any transponder thingy...we didn't really race though.

Here is a free timing system and if youever do get the transponder system it will work with it to.
All you have to do to get it free is to fill out the form.
They email you with the link to download it.
I just did it and the software also hooks into light boards and climate control.
Looks to be one of the better free lap counting systems out there.
It will allow manual lap counting also.
Hope this helps.

IF you are interested in the AMBrc system let me know. All of our track equipment id for sale. I am over here in Seattle but maybe we could meet in Wenatchee.
