Smile My story

Back in 2008, I was in a bad marriage that was falling apart and I was feeling lost. I was raised Jewish, but it never seemed to fit in my mind. I felt like there was no hope, and was pretty much a non-believer in any faith at that point.

After getting seperated, I met my now current wife who through the help of music was able to lead me to Jesus. She was heavily involved in tour management for Christian bands, and had a huge involvement in lining up the bands for Rock The Sound IV which was held in Bridgeport, CT. Her taking my to that concert is how she was able to lead me to Christ as my savoir. I felt so relieved and now knew that there was hope. I truely believe God meant for my wife and I to meet and fall in love. I have been so much happier in all aspects of my life ever since we got together.

We got married on November 21st, 2009 and our wedding song was "Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts. It is the perfect song for the two of us, and describes how our lives were both going until we met. This is my 2nd marriage, and my wife's 3rd. We plan to be together forever.

Good Morning, Jeff!

Thank you for sharing your story with us! We always love hearing testimonies about people finding Jesus and the difference it makes in their life!

Congrats as well on meeting your wife! I pray for you both, that like all of us married people, that we keep Jesus at the center of our marriages so He can lead and bless us like He wants to.

I know the song you are talking about, but if I may----it may have had more meaning than just the 'road' to the relationship with your wife. For you, like alot of us, it may also refer to the 'broken road' that God used to finally bring us to Him, so He can be our Lord and Savior. Just a thought...

Keep us informed of how things are going in your marriage and your walk with the Lord. And if there is anything you would ever like prayer for, please stop in and share that with us. I believe we have some real prayer warriors that hang out in here! And as always---keep your focus on Jesus as your Lord and Savior. People will fail us at times, but true joy comes from the Lord.

God Bless You Brother!
