We are coming up to our two year anniversary. What would be a good way to celebrate that?

We are going to give away a painted car body. But wanted to know what you think would be good in addition to that.

I will have a new car body hopefully of my own for that too. Sounds good to me. That will be in October. I will start looking at the Calendar today.

Write to Pro-line when I returned a slightly mangled new GT-40 body. When I sent it to them, I sent copies of Christian Motorsports Illustrated and a local Christian publication, so that they could know about club, and asked for banners. I asked them to thank that person who was responsible for putting the Christian fish on the excess Lexan.

Post Race Results

This might not be a bad place to put the results of the GRANDE race from last Saturday. There were 8 cars racing:3 veterans and 5 "other."

Veteran:
Jeremy-1st place
"Cmotif"-2nd place
"Truckman1"-3rd place

Other:
John-1st
"ToSmite"(me!)-2nd
Richard B.-3rd
Travis-DNF (1st DNF of race)
"yo-yo-yokomo"-(2nd DNF of race)

Overall:
Jeremy(Veteran)-1st
John(Rookie)-2nd
"Cmotif"(Veteran)-3rd

NOTE:NEXT SECTION IS NOT CONCLUSIVE AND NOT NECESSARILY FINAL BECAUSE THERE IS SOME CONFUSION ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED TO "Truckman1"'s car.

"ToSmite"-4th
Richard B.-5th

Travis-1st DNF
"yo-yo-yokomo"-2nd DNF
"Truckman1"-3rd DNF?

Truckman1 will probably remember whether or not he DNFed. If he did not, I would probably put him in 5th place overall, between "ToSmite" and Richard B.

I am fairly certain, from the video, that "Cmotif" WAS beaten by John, which is a surprise!

There were more races than that. I never had a DNF. You only have two or three on the video, but I was in more than 5 races. (I know how many packs that I ran through)

John is a good up and coming racer.

Remember just because you see a car go across the line in front of another at the end of the race, that doesn't mean anything in itself. Only if they were on the same lap does it make a difference.

If you look at the video, Jeremy DNFs 15 second from the end of the race, but he still wins because he has everyone else at least 4 laps down. He had the most laps completed.

I believe the I finished more laps than John, but he does beat me in the last race.

Default MRCRRC online

MRCRRC is referred to at least two times on the Internet (besides rctech.net). One of them is http://rcvehicles.about.com/library/...r/bltfca09.htm , which pc9840 wrote up. It's a little summary of the track. (Bathrooms: Indoor; Fuel:Electric, etc.). Also, pc9840 has a little mention of MRCRRC on http://www.team-orion.ch/who/whoswho.asp , in a long list of RC Racers.

The "official" site of the MRCRRC seems to be http://mrcrc.netfirms.com/ which may or may not be working. I know nothing about it.

http://mrcrc.netfirms.com has been discontinued and does not work.

CORRECTIONS AND STUFF:
The big race last Saturday had rankings a little different then I posted. Class rankings (the ones that really matter, especially for Rookies) are right. But the overall should look like this:

1st-Jeremy
2nd-"Cmotif"*
3rd-John*
4th-"ToSmite"
5th-Richard B.
Last DNF of race-"Truckman1"**
2nd DNF of race-"yo-yo-yokomo"
1st DNF of race-Travis

*Looks like Cmotif got a lap up because John had to pull his car off the track and fix something.

**Sounds like a motor problem again, WHOOSH, CRACKLE, CRACKLE!
