I was hoping for a decent discussion between us with science and logic, but you never gave me the time of day...

We gave you love and you refused it, just like you are doing with God.

Don't try and blame God, or us here, for your poor choices...

God Bless!

Yip...my salvation and eternity in heaven were confirmed the day accepted Jesus as my Savior and gave my life to Him. Any other 'confirmation' is just man-made ritual, and therefore, not relevent to being a child of God, or a Christian.

Hope your big race went well!!!

I just read this whole thread, and I must say I applaud all involved, on both sides of this "argument."

I'm just popping in to say, I pray that the post in this thread will someday be read by someone, and get them hooked on God Just like we all have been

It really is a great story, and I'll be praying for those like Pooh.

Yes, I take communion when in church...most of the time. I've had times in my life when I knew my walk with the Lord wasn't right and I chose not to take it. Normally, I spend time examining myself before the Lord to make sure I have no unconfessed/unrepented of sin. And once that is complete, I take communion just as the Holy Bible tells me to.

Where in the Bible does it say I'm to be confirmed as a 'Baptist'?
I'm a confirmed child of God when I accepted His payment for my sins, and I serve and worship in an entire Bible preaching and believing Baptist church.

Did you get a trophy or plaque to bring home?

When taking communion , I assume you are taking the wine & bread ...

Just so you know because you have not been confirmed, taking bread & wine at communion as your doing is bad manners ...

Next time you take communion ?
Just hold your hands out unturned and the minister will lay his hands on your head instead of offering the wine and pray for you ...

Confirmation

With out , you have not taken your vows to Jesus.
So ?

Maybe you want to talk to your Minister and go though confirmation and become a true Christian like me ...

Then your prayer's for me would have some weight ....

LOL!

Sorry George, with ALL due respect, NONE of what you are saying is found in the HOLY BIBLE.

I don't know which 'bible' you have been taught from, but you weren't taught from the HOLY BIBLE. Or if you were, you accepted someone twisting it around to be lies, my friend

No, we use grape juice and bread, not wine. And I do exactly what the Bible tells me in preparation for communion, that's MUCH better than your man-made, unBiblical rituals you think you have to adhere to. And if it was good enough for Jesus, then I suppose it will good enough for me, right. Or are you claiming that you are more wise than Jesus, now, too?

I took my 'vows' to Jesus when I accepted Him as my Savior and gave my life to Him, where in the Bible does it say anything else is required for salvation and being a child of God (true Christian)? It doesn't....

I bet your prayers put ALOT of dents in the ceiling, George!

Maybe you should pray and ask forgiveness for trying to teach things that aren't in the Bible, and while you are at it, you should pray for whoever taught you this junk, cuz it is MESSED UP!

A few minutes on your knees asking God for wisdom might help, too!

So did you get a trophy, or not?

Just showing you what a Episcopalian is all about ...
I took my vows to Jesus in ft of a congregation ....

To become a Christian is just like a marriage to God ...

You can't just say I am a Christian ....

You have to become one first ...

Ask your Minister if I am wrong ....

And remember , Jesus wants you to become part of his house...

Show him you love him and take your vows...

Only then can you take communion ...
