Default So I watched a movie..

The movie (or more correctly documentary) is currently on NetFlix and is titled

"Lord save me from your followers"

Without writing 10.000 words (and I could) I would love to hear what others got form this movie. If you have not seen it I HIGHLY suggest spending the hour and a half, it very well could change your outlook as a Christian.

It's a documentary focusing on Christians in the US.

If you watch the entire movie I think you will find it to be more then pro Christianity and very well could really improve your roll and mindset as a follower of Jesus I know it did for me.

Default Just watched!

Tonight was the night! It was also my birthday so I happened to schedule this in

I would say this movie a reality check that our nation needs to have penetrate our hearts and minds.

I was moved by it, I've felt the power of Love and this movie captures it beautifully.

I'll be watching it again!

Carey

I'd like to personally thank you Tim for stepping out and posting this on the forums.

The concepts are something that I've applied all of my life and my hope is that I can spread the love I have for my savior to others in a way that is pure....strictly love based...no strings or if only's attached.

Awesome stuff, about to order it from Family Christian stores! Sounds like a great mindset to have, especially in our coming season! Blessed be the name of the Lord!

Happy Birthday Carey "SPN"~!

God Bless you all for taking the time to watch it and honestly I feel so blessed that it gave you something to feel great about.

I have to agree it was like a reality check and to me it was sort of conformation that I am not the only one living a Christian life style built fully and solely on love plan and simple... and I love movies that make me cry... I mean I "was told" He would soften my heart, but really... do I have to cry over everything now.... seriously I am 42 years Old

May God bless you on this wonderful day, and take a minute to show someone how great the love of Jesus is.

It's not for me to judge, my job is to show his great love.

This sounded really interesting until I started reading the reviews
the Book and Movie have been getting. For now though i have
one thing to say.

The TRUTH is the TRUTH, its not always easy for people to hear and
it does not bend to an Unbelieving society. Of course our walk and
ministries should be filled with love and compassion but not at the
expense of the TRUTH of the GOSPEL.

Hopefully I am totaly wrong about the message this film portrays.

I didn't read into opinions of others or reviews. I enjoyed what the movies portrayed.

Opinions are opinions.

I would suggest watching the movie and see what it portrays to you with your belief system.

For me having faith in Jesus it was a true blessing to watch this movie.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

The Family Feud segment really got me. It was a good example how Christians can get into their own world and have not clue about the ones around them and how to meet the needs of others as Christ has called us too. Build relationships, Love on others.

Watch it, lets hear your review rather than some pundits with an agenda.

Thats right SPN! Its a good movie and really brings some things to light for Christians who want to follow the example of Jesus in their lives.

I think the over all message sums up as

Don't stand on your front porch yelling what you believe, rather get off the porch walk across the street and meet your gay, sinner, druggie, shacking neighbor and start a conversation.
