This would explain why i had heard nothing about my custom wraps... now i feel bad.

Dear 247DesignWorks Customers,

We are writing to you today regarding an unfortunate turn of events that have recently taken place. As you know 247DesignWorks is a family business that takes the entire family to operate. Our son, Mike, who is the lead designer, suffered a paralyzing motocross crash in 2006. While working hard to get back walking again, in August of 2009 Mike began experiencing severe stomach complications. He has continued to do his best to fight and walk again, recover from these illnesses, and manage 247DesignWorks. As a family we have taken Mike to multiple specialists hoping to solve his reoccurring illness. He was preparing for a race this past Friday and was struck with another attack on his system and stomach. Like many unknown illnesses, it seems to come and go on a daily basis. Due to these issues and in a full effort to solve them, as a family we will be closing down 247DesignWorks until further notice. Mike is the heart of 247DesignWorks as a designer, sales manager, and our son. The length of time it will take Mike to get over his stomach illness is unknown, as we have been working with specialists since August 2009, and have made little progress. Currently on bed rest for a few days, he ask us to send out this letter with sincere apologies to all of you for the delay in work, the lack of communication, and for the temporary close and inconveniences. As a business we understand the need you have for your products and apologize that they cannot be completed, but as a family we feel it is vital to Mike’s recovery and well-being for the temporary close. As his symptoms come and go almost daily, Mike hopes to be at the track spending time with all of you, his friends, as much as possible. Mike wants everyone to know that as soon as he is WELL and able to put in the quality time and effort he strives for at 247DesignWorks, we will announce our re-opening. In the meantime our entire family understands your need for products, and your business going elsewhere during this time. We hope to regain your business and support in the future. Again, we ALL apologize for the inconveniences and troubles, and we greatly appreciate all of your ongoing support of 247DesignWorks and Mike’s recoveries. We will be sure to announce our re-opening as soon as Mike is able to get back to work and feeling strong full time!

I race with Mike on a regular basis and can tell ya, he's a great guy!! His is a compelling story as well....we just pray that God will heal him in His time.
