Default Don't Forget About Post Processing Your Images

I think that most SLR cameras/lenses are designed to produce images that require at least some bit of post processing, whether it is traditional darkroom, or digital darkroom. So I just wanted to share some tools I use in Photoshop for post processing. Simply unzip the file, and drag and drop them into your Photoshop program. Then go to window>actions to choose the particular action you would like to use.

You can also find alot of free PS action on the web.

Here is an example of post processing work. The first picture is straight out of the camera. The second one is edited using the "punch lite" action included in the zip file. Of course it is all about personal taste. Sometimes straight out of the camera images work for the intended purpose.

Thumbs up

Nice rendering of correct or better white balancing in PS.

I like using Lightroom for my post processing and work flow...very easy and to the point.

Besides, I sux at photoshop!

I think it's that P&S cameras have a lot of in camera processing to make them look good to the intended market.

DSLR's I think removes most of it because I guess most people with DSLR's know what they want/how to use it.
Or probably more to the point, have their cameras make a neutral (processing wise) image so the people taking the photos can make it into what they want.
