Let's say I want to promote some RC drag racing just outside of Detroit kind of product. Heavy shock oils. We wouldn't want some SoCal skinny minny to promote, we'd want a thick female.
You mean models with a badonkadonk? I can source those body types as well. I have shot that style before, just can't really post any images here in this thread.

it's actually nice pinup type genre work. Looks like you are using local available talent, a makeup artist/stylist, and good image post processing.

Reminds me of Ridgid tool calendars, back in the day.

Is there really a paying market for it?

I mean it's 2011 not 1982.

The profit is in membership websites and submitting image sets to magazines and other websites for consideration.

This thing I am trying here with RC is just an offshoot of that. Since I already have the model in studio, might as well try new things for her to model with.

Looks like this ones face was Photoshopped too much. Her skin looks like my daughters barbie doll when new.

ancient kenji secret:

He just needs to go back to the high res file select just her face skin and add some noise, probably monochromatic, maybe set at 2 then take away the selection and with a midtone only tool maybe set at 10%, throw some burn at the bottom of her cheek bones. Her face skin will look more "natural" then. I think what you are seeing is the work done on the face doesn't have any "stipple" or tack to it, its like it's just plain tone/color. Real skin even with lots of makeup has some artifacting/noise to their pixels.

Now I am beginning to take notice... you are right.

He must be from the mid-west... you know, of the North Dakota/ Montana variety. Only ice cream in those parts are Vanilla.

Why even Photoshop them? Keep them real. not even worth looking at when photoshopped.

I think that photoshop has ruined photography in general.

Unable to get that perfect shot? Fix it with photoshop.
Model has an unsightly tramp patch? Fix it with photoshop.
Missing something in the composition of the photo? Fix it with photoshop.

You know photographers did those exact same things in the darkroom...before Photoshop was invented right?

I don't think they were able to do the following in darkrooms:

Random google pictures.

An expert in the darkroom can do almost anything...just takes a lot longer.
