I don't want to spend an arm and a leg knowing that I will want to go bashing a lot more than racing which I want to do that too. I prefer it be an RTR so that I wont have to buy a lot of stuff separately. It would be great if it were something I could get parts from amain hobbies. also only excepting newer buggies (i.e 2012-current). I hope to purchase in 2 weeks when I come back home from working.

Take a look at the Kyosho rtr at Amain, if I was getting into the hobby, that would be my choice. World championship heritage, all kinds of upgrades available, and inexpensive.

Used I'd look for an Associated RC8 or RC82. They're incredibly durable(I speak from experience here), relatively inexpensive used and competitive anywhere.

Thanks Brett. I was also looking at the JQ and the Ofna X3 too. ill see what the local track guys are running too since I just moved into the area of Northern Virginia

I have a serpent cobra b that has 15 min on it with a ton of upgrades. No longer racing but I will sell it as a rtr with all high quality parts. 750$ with Ofna starter box Igniter and everything you need to run or race. About 1700$ value 931 639 7852 if interested
