It doesn't matter if you get the real OTT or a generic copy version... it's all in the Lamp. I work for a lighting agency. different lamps put out differ color temperature. it will vary from 2700k to 5000k. 5000k being more white and 2700k more yellow. 5000k will give the best color rendering and best work.

Same as the stock lamp. 13watt 2pin.

the stock lamp on the OTT is a 13watt.. 5000k lamp.

Sylvania lamp # 20309 CF13DS/850
Phillips lamp # 26216-2 PL-S 13W/50

Lamp-bulb...same thing... eveyone calls it differently. in the lighting industry...they're called lamps. Tool man Taylor would say bulbs...

basically that's all it takes to produce natural light whether it's OTT or knock-offs..
