Default WTB Tamiya TB01 stuff.

Looking for a graphite toplate for a TB01. I have the standard plastic chassis setup but would like the Tamiya toplate in graphite and also the graphite battery holder.

Also looking for other alum. stuff that would fit the TB01. I need it to be Tamiya stuff as I race TCS races.

Don't need a car or graphite chassis as I can't run it in the GT2 class. Anything else would be cool. Also diffs or .04 pinions that would work on the TB01 would be great as well.

Hey Brian check with Chrisman on here. He is selling a nice TB01 for $100 I think. I think it's my old car. It has a lot of hop ups on it. As soon as I get a few extra minutes in the day, I'll send those parts.

Thanks Macky...I will check it out.

I finished 6th in GT2 at the TCS race. Not too bad for a old 03 car. I could have used some better batteries and a newer fresher motor would have helped as well. All in all not bad as I had the only 03 in the A main.

Congrats on your finish Brian. You are the TA03 man. What do you think about a Daviv Jun for 120?

Bet you could get it for less. I would try 100 bucks or so. The Jun cars are very cool. I still think they look and run great.

Hey Casey,

I'm actually building it for GT2 like my 03. I just got alot of new stuff for it. I need to start building it now. I will have it done in a week or two. Getting it ready to bring down to your track for opening day. I need to get directions again from you but me, Tony Harrison and Randy are coming but I might have more.

My TAO3 was cool to run but I need to have more punch out of the turns and the TB01 will give me that and I can run my better 2000's in it as well. I will keep the stock plastic tub so I can run all Tamiya classes with it.

I might keep my 03 for ralley as I will not be selling this one. I like it too much.

I can't help in the parts search but wanted to ask you guys what you have done to your TB01s to run in stock GT2 class. The one time last season that we raced ours we won; the car seems much easier to drive than the 04. Of course it's hopped up.

Coolrcdad I didn't run mine yet. I just finished building it about 1/2 hour ago. I have mine pretty hopped up. I have alum shocks, diffs, lightweight gears, alum lightweight shaft, rear alum. support and metric 64 pitch gears.

I like ti because with the shaft drive it should accelerate harder out of the corners than a belt like the TC3. Don't see any differance in mod but stock you might. Another reason I got it is everyone is running the TA04 and I wanted to be a little different. My TA03 is running great but against the 04's it is a tad slower out of the corners. I finished 6th in our local TCS race last week. Was up to 3rd but wrecked on my own (man enough to admit it). I didn't have the speed the 04's did but my handling was great.

I might try to practice a little tonight to see how it is. If I do I will post my thoughts.

Casey I will let you know. I will email you after I get to run the car.

Shockwave that car should be very nice. My buddy had it before Crisman and I bought many things from the guy who had it so it should be in great shape.
