Looking for this tire

Was wondering if anyone has any of these tires or knows of anywhere I can get some? Maybe someone has seen them at their local hobby shops or has some in stock?
The tires are made by Works for Competition. We race at a sports center and use 2 basketball courts to race on. This has been the only tire that hooks up well at all on the floor. Problem is...........we are running out of this tire in our area. Can not seem to find any more. Hobby ETC. has been the shop that we get them from but even they can not supply them any more

Any help would be appreciated........... Lenny

Lenny,

Here is a pic of what I have in a decent quantity and they are all brand new.

E mail me at [email protected] if interested.

Thanks, Mike

Thanks for the reply Mike

What is the brand of the tire? Is it made by Works for Competition and if so, what is the name of it?

We have tried numerous tires with a similar tread design but it is the compound of the rubber that makes the difference.

Hey Lenny,

Mine are from Europe and the only problem is that there is only an handful of manufacturers that produce these rubber tires and companies buy them and put their own packaging on them. The same can be true with the foam tire market as well.

I can tell you that I used these tires on a semi rough parking lot race with my mod sedan and they hooked up pretty well.

Just let me know, Mike

Hey lenny, the go carts must have been cool. Any pics?

I race with Lenny, what we are looking for is works for competition tires or proof that another brand is made by/for them.

We know what works on this surface and are not interested in spending money on experimenting. We did that all ready the first year we raced there.

Sharkman,

You can NOT go faster without trying new products and ideas...that is what makes this sport of ours so great.

No biggee. Good luck, Mike
