Default Good Hex Set or Misc.

I've been trying to slim down the box lately and found that I had a ton of parts for both my racing rigs but no really decent tools to work on them with. I'm not looking for anything that'll pay your next car payment but I would like some prices on something better than what I have. If you run nitro offroad then chances are I might have something you're looking for but I can do cash if needed. I would just like something decent. Individual tools like Hudy hexes and stuff are more than welcome. If enough guys have a few here and there I might end up with a good set to get me through the season until my B-Day in October when the Mrs. promises to look through that Hudy catalog I've been leaving laying around the house.

Please note: I'm gun-shy of new members with no feedback so please don't be surprised if you have a deal too good to be true and I turn you down. But for the price of misc tools I might be the guy to give you your first feedback.

The ones I need for sure are 1.5mm-3mm since both my rigs take metric. Let me know what you have that fits my needs.

I appreciate the offer bro but for Dynamite hexes I wouldn't want to drop that kind of cake on them. Understand that it's not YOU bro, I just wouldn't buy Dynamite tools anyway. Seriously, I'd like to find a set of Hudy's or as close as I can get before I drop nearly half a c-note on some Dynamite's. Sorry bro, not your fault. It's just I'm looking for a really nice set from somebody stepping down, out or vacationing from R/C for one reason or another.

Appreciate the offer bro. I'll keep it running and let you know how it turns out. From the looks of it I'll be buying a Hudy a week for the next 3 months.

Default .

if your local shop carries hudy wrenches test fit one of them in your screws

there a real tight fit

i bought the red dynamite set bigcod offered back when the tmaxx 1.5 was released

flat edge on the handle so they dont roll away

never broke a tip using them daily at a shop for 4 years

stay far away from integy's

rdlogics look nice but they twist like pretzels

losi's smaller of the 2 wrenches were made for people with baby hands

AE makes a nice set but they roll away all the time

check out the GS racing wrenches if you can find them

Thanks guys, I'll keep my eyes open and do some looking around. I never really wanted Integy as I trust them about as far as I can throw my Camry. Other than that I was wanting a GOOD set that looked nice too. Something like metal handles and such. I'll go take a peek at the JConcepts set as well as the GS ones tomorrow probably. Appreciate the point in the right direction.
