For Sale: Ty Tessmann's personal used D8T body and signed T-shirt
#1

My brother-in-law, Josh Xiong passed away in a boating/fishing accident in November 2014.
He left behind his son Maddix(7) and daughter Alexis(6), and their mother, GF of a decade Maly; we are having a fund raising benefit in his honor to benefit his kids.
I have reached out to a number of RC companies because Josh had enjoyed RC with me. There have been many companies who have given a lot of quality donations, but this one is special and I wanted to be able to generate as much money for my niece and nephew as I could.
I will be selling this body and signed t-shirt to the highest bidder. 100% of the money will be going into a fund for their well-being.
The "auction" and bidding will be done at 11:59.59pm CST on February 28th 2015. (Saturday night at midnight on the last day of the month.)
To place a bid simply make a post with your bid amount. check back regularly to see if you have been out bid. There is no reserve. It is going to sell to the highest bidder. I will answer any questions that are asked either in this thread or via PM, so feel free to ask.
If the bidding passes $110 (in honor of Ty's 110% Racing) I will include a second signed shirt.
If you have questions as to the legitimacy of my post, I've included at the end of the photos a couple of links from various local news affiliates who have covered the tragedy, as well as a link to the facebook page for the memorial benefit that we are hosting for him on the 28th.
Ty Tessmann sent me this body and gave me the full rights to do with it as I please to help in my family's efforts for generating funds.
I hope that he will post up in this thread to acknowledge the authenticity of his body and shirt that he sent to me. (I will be emailing him a link to this thread as I know he is on RCTech too.)
Opening Bid is $50. with a minimum bid increase of $5.
-I do have a Paypal account set up if you'd like to make a donation and not bid on the Tessmann body and shirts.
The account is:
[email protected]
-I have this posted in an RC group that I run on facebook too. if I get any "bids" on there I will post them in here too just to make sure that it is all in one place. -I'll take a screen shot of the bid and post it just so there are no questions.-
THANK YOU!

If there is a mod who has a serious issue with this, they can message me about it.
I think something as rare as a Tessmann body for a cause like this would be a rare exception to the rules.
I'm aware that I'm pushing the limits of the intentions of the forum rules, but in general, I think most folks have been pretty understanding of it. It will be done in 3 days.
