KO PROPO ARC Lap Counting System LOOK!!
#1

Selling my KO PROPO ARC Lap counting System. It is in very good shape with some small scratches. Works perfectly. We used it at out outdoor and indoor off road tracks for the last year. We finally upgraded to the MY LAPS
Functions very similar to the My laps system... you bury the loop. Transponders are the same size as house AMB's The get mounted to the chassis or under the body....
System.
Includes:
Decoder Box
Complete loop with coax (loop was in pvc and is like new)
Serial Cable to got directly to computer or to a serial to usb converter
Power Supply that is hard wired into box
25 Transponders( you can run 10 cars at once)
8 male to male wires for transponders (you can buy these on amain for $2.99)
9 male to female wires for transponders
Like I say it works perfectly. You do need to keep the coax, loop and decoder away from power wires or it will have interference. I ran it right next to my amp for the pa system with no issues.
Works with several software packages. DOES NOT INCLUDE SOFTWARE
I highly recommend RC Scoring Pro.... Doug is a great guy and will help you setup.
Laps Free also works with it.
This would be an awesome system for a smaller track or club.
$600 Obo
NO Trades at this point. Shipping should be pretty reasonable so I will pay that in the continental US. Located in Osseo, WI.

looking at the pics - I'm guessing the transponders do not have their own batteries, but instead plug into a receiver similar to a AMB/MyLaps personal transponder?
(I think I saw some type of a KOPropo scoring system years ago w/ on/off switches on the transponders and replaceable batteries.)
I wouldn't mind having an old system like this to play with, mostly as a novelty and maybe have it where it could be used at a local fundraiser carshow race that a buddy of mine holds annually (currently they just hand count)
I've had pretty much ALL of the AMB systems over the years, but have been out of the "Race Directing" game for a couple plus years now...
If you don't find a small club or other party interested...I'd toss an offer of about $250.00 shipped for the system. (if that's too low to even consider, I understand..and I'm ok w/ that...but it would be more of an impulse buy, and not a NEEDED item)
