Lmao, "some wear marks and small cuts and scrapes" dude the body on that thing is hammered and if it lost compression it's definitely not in good mechanical shape.

Lol, I know the body isnt clipped down, but doesnt it look like the front bumper is falling off??? Those body panels arent cheap either. And why no pics of the bottom of the chassis amd the bottom of the arms, all the places that wear....

It looks that way cuz the body isn't mounted in place, it's just sitting on top of the truck. I was taking quick pics. I was trying to show that the body is damaged. Wanted folks to be aware that body wise she's roughed up.
Sure, the body isn't great, but I didn't buy it to be a shelf queen.
I was talking with a bud and have learned my engine issue may simply be a carb issue. He was having the same problem and turned out to be a carb issue. If my wife would stop adding to my honey-do list I'd get a chance to check things out.

LOSI

The link doesnt work for me it could be just me but neither my phone or computer will open it to anything but a blank page. Unfortunatly loss of compression isnt going to be a carb issue its deeper than that but maybe its better described in your description I cannot see.

Loss of compression was a thought running through my head. But the symptoms as described by my friend were identical. As I said, I've not even had a chance to look into it. I'm simply running scenarios through my head at this point.
