this system will count any transponder from mrt, mylaps and even a few transponders i have seen that i don't know who even mfg them. It is a much more reliable system than the new one's they have out and like i said 10yrs without a problem counting a transponder !!!

Here is my problem, AMB 20 will only count the old gray house transponders, I thought your unit looked like the original AMB RC system that came out but wasn't sure since you have an AMB 20 manual. If it does count personals and MRT transponders it is not an AMB 20 system, you have it priced right being it counts personals, An AMB 20 system without house transponders is pretty much useless and even if you have 20 of those and a charging rack it would only be worth $750 - $1000. You should be able to get $1500 for this thought easy.

The box says it is an IT. This is the box that came out between the 20 and the newest RC system. It should count personals, mrts, and the red house transponders. One of our local tracks has this exact setup, unless the picture isn't of what is for sale; or the boxes have been switched.

AMB 20 system does not do personals. This is an IT system which does do AMB personals (MyLaps), MRT personals, and the red house transponders. It will not do the black house transponsers as they are for the older AMB 20. The confusion is that he listed it as AMB 20 and has a manual for the 20 system. But the box is definitely marked IT.

i guess the confusion is in the pictures they are not the same units....the first couple of front pictures show a red corner next to the amb logo, and the last front pic the IT is yellow...maybe clearing that up would help everyone....on a side note great guy to buy from and a great deal for a system!!!! Good luck

This is an AMBrc system EVERYTHING was IT (Identification & Timing)...lol, it was there trademark. It will do personals.

An AMB 20 box is about 2.5 to 3 times longer with a dial on the front. This will give you an idea.
