As explained in one of the sticky posts, you must do either one of the following:

1. Be a member for 90 days and have at least 90 posts...

OR

2. Become an Elite Member

Another sticky post tells you how to become an Elite Member.

Reply to your own ad asap. If you bump it every day you should be able to respond even quicker.

#5 is complete horse sheeeaaaiaiiite seriously.
It's completely ass backwards. The BUYER has made the conscious decision of reaching out to purposely purchase something. They don't have to but they do so they should be paying the fees. The seller sets out a price for the value of the product- not + fees. This is the better way to approach it. I understand it can be looked at both ways....

YOU made the conscious decision to sell a product, YOU are USING paypal to receive funds for that said product. They are YOUR fees! It’s really common sense!

The buyer at an auction doesn’t pay auction fees. The seller does.

I switched to Imgur when Photobucket got greedy.

I keep seeing the same person responding to items for sale the same or nearly the same way every time. I'm not going to name them because maybe everything is completely on the level. But it's always "My name is ******* I would like to buy your item. Please contact me at my phone number *******" About a hundred and twenty five times or so in the last year. This person has zero trader feedback. A month or two ago a forum remember said don't do business outside of the forum. To always use PM's rather than texts. Do you guys agree with that statement?

I'm also new to the forum as i'm just getting back into the hobby and have made several purchases. But I will agree with your statement to use PM's rather than text that way there is always record of everything but at the same time i've texted people that turned me onto other sales.

Just wondering what happens in this scenario. Suppose everyone is dealing in good faith and a buyer sends PayPal only to find out somebody beat them to it with the purchase. Can the seller just cancel the deal or refund the money without paying a PayPal fee? Since I don't know the answer I try to make contact one final time right before I pay realizing that delay could cause me to lose a deal on something I really wanted

How about patients! How about waiting for someone to answer a question before you send money. It ridiculous to assume that people can ship the next day when some us have to work. Shipping within 72 hours by the weekend is perfectly acceptable.
