Great post, just in the wrong section....

I would ask to have it moved, or it will probably end up being deleted. Not being an @ss, just letting you know.

i hope it doesn't get deleted. i just didn't know were else to put it.

Yeah, lol - right next to the "rules" that basically say the same thing, "sticky: it, and nobody will read it..oh, and it also says where not to post threads like this..It shouldn't be around long..

I really dont know how to post pics on here and I take pride in the stuff I sell. Its not really lazy to not post pics because that way you only have to post them once, I have had to email pics tons of times which I think sucks way more than posting them on here ONCE.

You can always post in another forum area asking for help on just that. Pretty simple to do, and it would save you a lot of effort, as you said.

lowballers

I also love the "no lowballers" on people's posts and then bump there add a couple days and start asking why nobody is making any offers. Hello! I wonder.

lostinbaja 02-14-2012 06:43 PM

Why complain about how the seller posted his stuff for sale? If you don't like the way the ad is written or posted, don't buy it!
It's really very simple.

Because they infest the rest of the for sale ads! I will tell you whats simple--reading the sticky that has the basic rules for selling an item and follow them or at least ask questions.

I say to make a sticky that is more explicit with some of these valid points...

A. The people that won't read this thread won't read the rules, so... there's your sign.

B. The original poster must be the same person that complains about the radio or the TV station not playing something they like ALL the time. That is why there is a power button and channel changer on your radio/tv. Don't like the ad, don't buy or look at it. Its pretty easy to tell if the ad has pictures by the little paper clip on the right side of the post.

C. I think the lowballers were addressed in a post a day or so ago. Some people negotiate some don't. Their ad their choice again, don't like it... change the channel. Apparently if you are willing to lowball you are interested enough to make an offer just not a good one. Clearly you know when you are lowballing and when you aren't. 10-20% within the asking price is not a lowball. Unless you are buying multiple items from a seller you shouldn't be offering 50% of asking or you should politely ask if its negotiable not send a ridiculous offer and expect an answer or a nice answer.
