Properly geared that motor should see temps around 160-165, throw some gear on it, you might clear that triple...;)

I tried about 6 gear combos and changed the timing too. It was cold in the building and I have only seen one guy make the tripple running an 8.5 timed and geared up. The main was only 8 minutes and the qualifier 5. I even tried a 65c 5600 battery.

Motor temperature is not a measure of performance.
