This is the Team Orion "Carbon Molecular" 40C, 4S/14.8V, Li-Poly Battery. Based on Team Orion's successful Carbon Molecular LiPo Battery technology this pack for 1/8 scale cars features an incredible capacity of 5100mAh at a voltage of 14.8V! It has been approved by the US racing federation ROAR and is completely race ready, equipped with Deans high current plugs, high quality silicon cables and an extra strong carbon look hardcase.

Team Orion was the first company to introduce the hardcase concept for RC surface applications that has now become the worldwide standard. Their next goal is to produce the lowest internal resistance batteries with the highest power output able to provide the peak current required for acceleration but also to maintain the voltage under heavy load. All this has been achieved with one thing in mind: Maximum Security. Multi carbon molecules are used in the construction of the LiPo batteries. The cells have the possibility to recover voltage extremely fast. To handle the high current drain, pure copper 12AWG wire is used and is soldered directly to the cell terminals. Each cell is factory matched before assembling.
