I've never traded or sold anything over the internet before ( I know, I live in a cave). How do I go about trading something and being assured that I recieve my half of the deal? Same ? goes for an outright sale? thanks for the help. If this is in the wrong section please accept my apology and mod. please remove.

i usually only trade with those that have a high post number, have a positive ebay rating (if possible), or have a good feedback rating on possibly several rc boards. if you do a trade, get lots of information, such as name, phone number etc. I usually talk on the phone. and get pics of them item. good pics.. closeups etc.

make sure both sides use tracking and or confirmed delivery so there is no "but how come you didnt get yours...."

i usually dont trade unless ive seen the person around on the boards and traded alot.. etc.. you can get a good feel from time to time...

if its a sale, just accept money via paypal, or a usps money order. safeest... and send out with some kind of tracking and delivery confirmation.

if you are buyin, caveat emptor. check out the person.. and make a good desicion. if something doesnt seem right.. politely turn away. get pics of the item... phone number, name etc.. (current pics are good). make sure the person can do tracking for you..

just some hints from my end....

not always, but i steer clear from lost post numbers selling big sale items... i do my homework...
