This is a Smart Diff similar to the losi smart diff, but made by Fioroni.
Stock gear diffs with different weight oil to adjust the level, is the standard method of transferring power to the wheels and when we decide on a specific oil for the diffs, it has to be a compromise. If we want it to turn in sharper, we have to go lighter, compromising forward drive and vice versa. The Smart/Tractive diffs remove most of this compromise and give us the best of both worlds. When coming into a corner, it will "lighten up" and create more steering. When coming out of a corner, it will "tighten up" and give better forward drive. Hope this helps. |
