Default E-Revo 1/8th Aluminum Diffs - RC Monster

E-Revo 1/8th Aluminum Diffs -
I believe they were manufactured by RC Monster
All aluminum caseing
1/8 size differential
there are two, both will need a new pinion gear and bearing
along with a good cleaning and re-oil

there is a standard e-revo diff on the right side for comparison only

$150 obo

more detailed photos

I ran them in my e-revo on 6s lipos - the diffs themselves survived but the bearings and the pinions got a lil torn up

1) both diffs will need new bearings (Standard Traxxas bearings will not fit)

2) I was able to scrounge up a pinion from my stock of garbage parts that fit (1/8 size) in great shape

3) Only had one extra - the second pinion is the original - the teeth are not broken and still engage but are badly worn. I suggest replacing it.

4) the diffs themselves survived and turn easily without leaks but you can see that the pinion teeth scratched grooves into the side of the plastic portion. They still turn smoothly (better with a light coat of grease) I sanded the sides down a smudge smoother so it should not be an issue.

5) I believe a piece of metal (tooth?) got caught within the case and you can see a longitudinal scratch along the side of the diff. Again, it still rotates smoothly and it seems not to affect anything.

6) diff cases themselves are in good shape - scratches and dirt but no gouges/holes/or broken areas

hate to let them go for new they were in the $200 dollar range but currently they are just collecting dust in my extras box

its been a while but I believe they are the RC Monster V1 hybrid 1/8 diffs with the 6 spider gears. But dont be suprised if there are 4 gears.
