Custom Vintage Tamiya Super Hornet.

Up for bid is an vintage, original Tamiya Super Hornet.
This Hornet is an original release but has lots of custom upgrades.

This thing is crazy fast with a 15 turn motor in it, fun to drive!

Upgrades include:

FULL ball bearings throughout, including tranny, whels, etc
All transmission internal gears are new and freshly lubricated
Wheels are not originals but are vintage HPI 5-star wheels painted neon orange.
Diver figure has been detail painted, looks cool.
It has a HPI 15 turn Firebolt motor intalled, the motor is brand new
Original Mechanical ESC
Rear tires are new Losi step pin
Front tires are gently used vintage
brand new front bumper
Futaba stick radio

All shocks have been freshly rebuilt and work great
Body is in good condition, it has had a fiberglass patch done to the very front tip, looks like at one time it took a shot , but patch looks ok and is passable.
Stickers are peeling a little in some places, but still looks good for a 30 year old body.
Chassis has a small chip in the same area, very minor and does not affect it in any way other than cosmetic.
New chassis for these are about $12 on ebay if it is a concern.
