Team Losi STRIKE RTR - every imaginable option/fix!
 

OK, I know and have heard all the jabs at Team Losi for their RTR SC truck - and a few of these are true! BUT, there is not one 'issue' with the Strike that isn't fixable and I believe that I've fixed them all on this truck!

Let's start with the transmission and drive train - ball diff and CVD joints have been installed. In addition, the rear -1 degree hubs (from the XXX truck/buggy) have been installed - which settles the rear end down and improves rear grip. Then of course there's the front end - I have installed the aluminum front bulkhead along with spacing the upper control links outward so they can't strike the shocks and cause a problem with the lower shock mount! In the rear, I've installed the aluminum bulkhead and the rear shock upper control link mount to further strengthen the truck! And of course the appropriate Team Losi shock springs.

I've used a Slash rear body mount which allows the body to sit a bit higher and moves the mount forward.

In addition, I've also included the part to make the 'Casey Peck underslung battery mount' which lowers the center of gravity and improves the overall handling of the truck!

All electronics are stock - and work perfectly and have had very little use! I have included a 6 cell battery to get a newcomer started - performance isn't as good as a LiPo but it will get you in motion until you can get a better pack!

Otherwise, the truck is stock [biggrin] But, that does mean wheels, tires, body and all that good stuff!!!!!!

So, what we have here is a Strike as it possibly should have been delivered originally - and if you were to duplicate it you'd spend well over $100.00 to purchase the upgrades!
