Just curious.....You are skilled enough at soldering to disassemble an 18.5V lipo into 2 separate packs but didn't take the 38 seconds to solder the right plug on the battery or ESC?

Lincpimp over at Rc-monster.com separated the 5s pack for me...and I kept the stock traxxas plug on the esc just in case I wanted to sell the esc on eBay....it sells better with the stock plug instead of a deans plug...and yes, there is a deans plug on the lipo...I just made a traxxas to deans plug connector...

Let's assume not everyone is a scammer, what would you be interested in as far as trades with someone that has positive feedback and positive credentials at numerous sites?

Thanks,

Rob

Also it voids the esc warranty when you modify it. I made my own adapter as well to keep mine covered. T

On a seperate note, have you tried to put those 2.2 wheels on the slash? I purchased a really nice set of 2.2 8 shooter wheels/tires and when they got here found out the hard way they wont clear the front carriers. Has to be a 3.0 inner wheels to clear. T

Yeah, the 2.2 won't fit...I did the same thing ..lol....but i saw someone post a picture of their slash 4x4 with 2.2 TENSE beadlocks ..and apparantly you need wide spacers AND need to dremel part of the front caster to make it fit...

Curious, what did you use to change the outer rim color from red to black?

looks like a good deal, really like the sc10 body. How did the ESC work for you? Would you want to sell w/o ESC?

To be honest...this was the first traxxas esc that I've ever owned...I've had Castle creations/tekin/novak...and this esc(if your not looking to go above 2s lipo for racing and 3s lipo for bashing) is actually pretty good...after you calibrate it to your tx/rx it performs great....and it's waterproof... . And I do not like the traxxas body...which is why I got the sc10 body
