Ofna LX1e 1/8 4wd Brushless Buggy w/2.4ghz radio ALL BRAND NEW!!!
Title says most, pics tell the rest. Price is $340 shipped in lower 48 states.
Brushless system is Hobbywing 80A with 2230kv motor and Redcat Racing 2.4Ghz radio and receiver. All new. You need only a servo and battery to be fully ready to race. Put this package together for someone who can't spend the normal $800+ on a new 1/8e buggy so act fast. Comes as an 80% prebuilt roller with no electronics and generally sells for $200. I installed the radio and battery trays, motor, ESC, and radio to make it just about ready for the track.
NO TRADES ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME.
THANKS FOR LOOKING!!!!

How do you like the Lx1e? I haven't got to drive one of these yet but would love to. They seem pretty solid. Only thing I wasn't fond of by looking was the E clips on the hinge pins. SHocks feel good, nice, roomy layout and a very easy to use motor mount. Wanna hit the track with this but don't wanna lose $100 in value to do it!

Jury is still out on it for me. I have raced it once....driven it twice. It sure looks beefy, but the Wing Mounts are complete junk. If you flipped it over and dropped it on it's lid from a stand still...you would probably break it. In 2 races, I have broken 2 wing mounts. I ordered an XRay Wing Mount this time around!
Only other thing I hate on it is the use of all sorts of different size screw heads. I need 3 different hexes to remove the battery tray/ESC Mount. You would think they would make it easier ;-) Minor inconvenience though.
I modded mine a little so I could fit larger batteries in it. I only used 2 screws on the battery tray, and it ended up ripping out. My own fault really. I didn't want to drill the chassis for my test. Now I'll break out the drill bit I think.
Here is a pic of what I did:
I removed the stock ESC/Battery Tray, and the Center Diff Top Plate. I fabricated an ESC mount for on top of the Center Diff out of an old on-road Chassis Plate. So I relocated the ESC up top in the center, and mounted a Tekin Battery Tray and Strap Kit.
I need to shorten the ESC/Motor Wires if I keep it like this because the body bends them a bit when it's mounted, but it's a solid solution if you don't mind drilling the chassis ;-)
Now it does handle pretty well out on the track though. I do still want to add a set of Big Bores to it, but out of the box it's not bad at all! Especially for a $200 rig. I got mine for $150 off a club racer. He used it at the track once, then needed cash for another project. So I decided to sell my XRay XB8 Conversion and go with a purpose built electric.
Anyone looking for an electric....this is a GREAT buy for an ARTR buggy! I just ordered the $50 in parts I needed, so I guess I really don't need another roller for parts, but I'm still thinking about it. hehe
If you are looking for any trades....let me know. I have a lot of Nitro stuff...and a handful of 2s LIPOs...and a bunch of other stuff. I may still buy it....we'll see how the finances work themselves out.

I am willing to sell anything you want separately. Motor I will take $75 shipped.
Matt, I tried calling but left a message.
Good to know its a pretty solid buggy. I was surprised that I needed a 3mm hex to finish installing the battery tray but whatever. Big bores would be nice but the shocks seem pretty good how they are. I like the mods, they look good. However, I have had bad luck mounting the ESC on top of the diff. Too high up and asking to get nailed by flipping, or getting landed on.
Can't take any trades and even if I could I wouldn't for nitro!!! Its going to Ebay tomorrow along with A LOT of other stuff. Brushless motors, RC8e, DSM systems, LOTS of parts, etc. My ebay ID is FranklyFUN_97 and Rc_Mann.
The ofna will be under Rc_mann and everything else under the first name.
Pm if you want a direct link.
