Default cant saw foresure , i saw factory guys run them

it may be a safety incase one breaks a lead from a impact or it may have another advantage. i'm leaning more towards the safety or a back up if a lead should break . with out a cap you would be done or could damage the esc as you can see with all the shrink wrap i dont want to leave anything to go wrong play time is short enough

Did you run your ESC with those heatshrink wrapped on the post?

NEVER shrink wrap the soldering posts. Those act as the heatsink for the speedo.
