hey man the b44 you got there is very clean but for $300 thats kinda high. i could go buy a brand new kit for $325. if you want it to sell i would suggest lowering your price

msedsp 08-04-2009 08:01 PM

it is new! and if a new kit is $325 and shipping to most places is $10-$15 that means a new kit would cost around $340 Right?! (not to mention tax!!)

From Hobby Store: $340.00
My Car: $300.00
--------
Savings: $40.00!!!!!!

msedsp 08-04-2009 08:06 PM

Oh, not to mention cost of professional assembly $??.??
(and yes I would consider it professional as I have been racing, and building kits since about 1988 so I have a lot of experience, not to mention I run and own my own Car Stereo shop and know how to build, fabricate, weld, and as another hobby of mine is woodworking - how does that relate you ask? - well like this: it takes skill, ability to measure, craftsmanship, pride in your work, and attention to detail!)

StPRacer 08-04-2009 10:06 PM

dude, he's not ripping you. it's just that items like this generally start at $50 off retail. the fact that it's assembled correctly doesnt add to the price.

Dan 08-05-2009 04:55 AM

Yeah, if anything, it would have been worth more still new in box. I'd start at $250 and you might be lucky to get a few interested. Good luck with the sale though.

msedsp 08-05-2009 08:07 AM

I'd rather keep it than lose money, and a $40.00 savings is not exactly chump change, so although I appreciate the advice, please keep your opinions to yourself unless your interested in buying it - then make me an offer for a sale or trade, I would be interested in a factory team t4 and a transponder with all three ears in tact in new or near new shape.

Thanks,
Mike
