It is not recommended for lipos from what I have read. So I would say no. It will do nimh and nicds and do them very well. It will also do receiver packs and transmitter packs. Very user adjustable.

There is still some nimh racing going on and anyone doing it should contact me if they need a like new charger, that is super sturdy and strong.

Awesome charger, charge your batteries on a well built work horse of a charger. Make an offer, I may take it

It was designed before lipos came out really, so no. At least its not rated to be able to. It does have the ability to set a capacity limit. It also has the ability to set a voltage cutoff. There is also a thermal sensor that was available that I don't have but if you got one then even better.

I feel this charger has more in it them some chargers do but I can't tell you what to do. Personally someone should need this as a very advanced charger that would be great for charging receiver packs, transmitter packs, packs for boats or crawlers, anything that someone who still uses nimh packs.

I'll work something out with you in trade for your charger, I still run some NiMH's and Im sure I can charge a LiPo on it if it will cut off at a certain voltage.
"If not, I can put a voltage regulator in line on it and use it."

People have gone nuts with this whole LiPo battery thing in our hobby...

It is safer to use a LiPo charger, but if you know what you are doing and can watch the charge or have it cut off at the right voltage, you can charge a LiPo with a NiMH charger.

LiPo's like to charge to a certain point and discharge to a certain point, look at it this way, Novak is making a killing by selling the Smart Stop... I won't lie, I have two of them, they are great for bashing, I can run til the battery is low and not have to worry.
A NiMH peak charger doesn't know when a LiPo is full but as long as you don't throw to many volts at it, it should be fine.

I don't wanna see you take a huge loss on this... Someone either needs to step up with some cash or like I said, Im sure we can work something out.
