it makes the handling consistent from beginning to the end of the race.

it makes the very good handling mtx-3 even better handling.

the tire wear is much better also.

i've sold more than 50 of these belts already. even pro drivers use the conversion to make their car better.

you can also look at the mtx-3 forum regarding the 16/19 conversion topic. you're gonna have to 'dig' though coz there's so much posts.

Also, this does not need to change the pulleys that are on the stock mtx 3 right?

You need to have a 16t and 19t side pulley combination. You already have the 16t stock for the side belt. but you need to put that in the rear part of the side belt pulley configuration and put a 19t on the front.

All you need to have is a 19t pulley and the belt to do the conversion.

Any diffrence by putting a 19t on the rear instead of the front?

yes the ratio will be different. the front roll out will be less. you need to have more. that's the main reason for the conversion.

its not that the mtx-3 was engineered wrong but its one of those things that you can do to fine tune a car to make it even better. and besides, when youre racing you want to be fast and even more important - consistent.

I just got a new stock belt and dont really need the 16/19 conversion yet, i will probably get the 19T pulley by 3 Racing when my new belt is breaking apart.

thanks for your hhelp

no problem

but when you're ready to do the conversion, don't forget to check my auction on ebay. the belts i'm selling are cheaper than Kawahara but stronger - from personal experience.
