FT: Slash Looking for TC/VTA
Picked up an SC10 recently and haven't been racing the Slash so it's time to look for something else...
I've been wanting to get into VTA for some time so a VTA setup would be what I'm looking for first. TC would be very close second!
The Slash has seen mostly carpet track (a few test runs up and down the street when I first got it). It's currently running 45wt all around with 1 hole pistons up front. NO RX/TX but all other electronics included (stock servo, ESC, and motor). 2 bodies (amsoil and a black shell) that have their share of race marks on them. Tires are good and there are a few tire scuffs on the chassis (from tangling with other trucks, rubbin is racing). The chassis has also been modded for carpet racing by cutting off the extended braces that keep getting stuck on the carpet, see pic number 8. I can also throw in a 7cell 5000 Mah NiMH from Cheapbatterypacks... Will ship in the original box as well!
I'd like to trade for a TC3/4 in similar shape or if someone is feeling good a TC5 roller (it's a stretch but I had to ask).
I might even be interested in a BL set up for the SC10? Maybe a 17.5 or a 15.5 motor and ESC in good condition?

It's still here and I've gotten a few good offers but I'd really like to stay with the Electric TC3 or TC4 setup.
I might even be interested in a BL set up for the SC10? Maybe a 17.5 or a 15.5 motor and ESC in good condition? (will add this to the 1st post)
I'll let it run for a few more days and see what happens. PM me if interested and just so you'll know I will ask for pics of your setup as well (had to put it in there since some folks don't want to send them).

Extended brace issue on Slash
If you take a couple small screws and pre drill a couple holes near the end of the extended brace and screw thru the brace and into the chassis it won't get hung up on carpet anymore. You can also file down part of the brace so it has a smoother edge where it would get hung up. That was one of the first things that I did on my Slash as the extended brace would pop out if it got snagged. Just some good info and a free bump.
