RC10 GT, OS-CV and OS-CZZ
#1
RC10 GT, OS-CV and OS-CZZ
Old style tub chassis
Reinforced motor mount (one of those blue things that we all pay too much for) - very effective, no rear flex
Lunsford turnbuckles
Cirrus high torque/high speed servo (CS-75) on steering
Airtronic 94102 servo on throttle
No receiver, but I can add in a Novak NER-2X AM 27 - old, but reliable - been using it with Airtronics transmitter.
Paris turbo ring pipe
Rechargeable nicads (don't know the capacity, bought 'em a couple years ago) - probably about 700 mAh capacity; they work well
RPM body mounts
Dual shock towers in rear - new style. I have them sandwiched together to reduce flexing.
RPM front bumper
Regular Associated clutch shoes (two shoes, not four) are currently installed
MIP CVDs
Oversized rear bearings
Currently has ProLine Edges up front
ProLine BowTie "T"s (M2) in back
Geared 15/66
Springs: Silver in Front, Green in Rear
Aluminum brake nut
Aluminum brace - tranny to rear bulkhead
T3 shocks in rear
T3 slipper clutch
Associated body painted yellow - just a couple of bruises. These bodies are much more durable than the ProLine.
OS-CV .12 (non pull start) with old style O'Donnell (or maybe Dynamite) head. Problem with one of the threads on top of the engine block being stripped at the very top -- does not allow for the original Red Head or newer O'Donnell heads to be screwed on correctly. The O'Donnell threads perfectly, stays put. Engine's had about a gallon of fuel through it.
I've built and modified this car to be race ready: Pipe is secured to frame with tie-wraps, no on-off switch for the turn marshall to mess with - I'm using a Dean's plug to connect the battery. Screws on rear arms are secured with nuts.
Extras:
(1) New ProLine body still in original wrapper - '98 Ford F150 GT - unpainted
(1) old style rear shock tower
(1) OS - CZZ .12 (relatively new con rod, sleeve and piston); can't remember when I used this last - must've been a couple years ago
(1) new OS mixture control valve
(1) new con rod for CZZ and CV
(1) new cylinder and piston assembly for CZZ and CV
(1) another con rod - look like the same as above - except original label is missing
(1) McCoy MC-59 Glow Plug
(1) new Associated flywheel
(2) MIP clutches
(1) new OS No. 8 glow plug
several used glow plugs
(1) RedHead heat sink for OS-CV (won't fit CZZ)
(1) new Associated air filter (paper)
(4) Associated outer filters
(2) OS Air filters
(1) new MIP boost bottle - still sealed up in original bag
(1) new Associated muffler bracket
(1) Associated pipe (muffler)
(1) new crankshaft for OS-CV
(1) used OS-CV engine (pull start) - got this in a trade, don't know how well it runs. Been keeping it for parts. Carb, crankshaft and bearings all look good. I broke the spring in the pull start - doh!
(1) new Associated chassis to motor mount
(2) new rear arms
(3) new front arms
(1) new Associated black nose plate
(3) new spur gears (66,66, and 68)
(1) 16 tooth clutch bell
(1) new Associated gas tank (not reverse mount)
(3) new Associated plastic brake nuts
(1) new rear suspension mounts (1.5 degree toe in)
(1) new Associated disk brake
(1) glow plug igniter (or whatever you call the thing to heat the plug to get the beast running) - uses standard C battery
and some old parts - ugly, but still usable
$200 or best offer
