Actually it is a forum rule. Gets old seeing the same postsat the top all the time when you're trying to find the actual new ones.

From the rules you didn't bother to read:

COURTESY

* Please post listings within the correct forums.
* Please include preferred contact information within your listing. This can include your e-mail address or Instant Messenger service handle.
* No random comments! Only post if you are interested in buying or selling items on the boards. Random and/or useless posts should be reported to the moderators to be deleted.
* One “bump” or “TTT” per day. If you surpass this, the thread may be locked and/or removed.

+1

Does +1 count as a random/useless comment?

It does get old and not everyone can sit online all day and bump their stuff but there are too many threads for the mods to babysit...what can you do?

I think the mods should give the OP delete thread rights in this forum so he can delete any and every thread bumped more than once in 24 hours. I find it highly annoying.

I try to bump mine about once a night otherwise it ends up on something like page 12 after 24hrs and I can't expect a shopper to take the time to stroll through 12 pages to get to mine. If someone has a ligitimate question I will answer but hat's it. Those that bump more than once a day should be locked!

Heck the only way I can find my own is to do an advanced search using my screen name!

The rule is one bump per day, I never mind someone doing a morning and an evening bump, but there DOES seem to be an epidemic of folks bumping as fast as every 15 minutes.

Something as bad...or even worse...there's a fairly long time member who has about a dozen threads he's bumping every 3-4 hours, pretty well monopolizing the front page for himself several times each day for the last few days. I think there should be an absolute limit to the number of active threads anyone can keep up. If you have THAT much stuff to get rid of it's time to combine stuff or head to e-Bay. That limit should be something like 3-4 threads.
