New Members Welcome Section? Where is it?
 

Ok I looked around a little and first thing on our site is onroad section? I didnt really pay much attention before now I guess and I haven't found anything from other members posted about it, UNLESS I'm just stupid and blind. My bad if I did. But I keep seeing new member just jump right here to the for sale section and start trying to sell things. Their only post on the site!! :weird: If everyone goes through alot of the for sale ads you'll see that their are ALOT of new members posting ads without pictures and prices and right behind them you'll see current long time members (myself included of course) letting them know that the need to read the FORUM RULES! We all know that scammers are all over the internet and lately they are on our site ALOT which is nothing new as this has just been the way it has been since someone invented the internet!! Anyways when anyone says something about prices and pictures to the new members they get really mad and start to rant and blow up( as I saw in a new members ad this morning with 2 posts total) and I dont think it should have to be this way.. I am not trying to offend anyone at all with my rantings here or make new member feel unwelcome in any way.
So I guess just a general question to the Mods and Site owner, Can a Actual unmistakable thread be placed at the top of the forum to actually welcome these new members so they can introduce themselves to everyone and maybe we can kinda get to know them a little beside just the usual hey dummy you have 0 posts and no price or pics kinda thing it has always been on the site and then the usual argument ensues. And I dont mean for this to be just a concern for the one section I mean it to be for all the other topics and threads on the site!!!
I don't know if I worded all this right as far as the way I feel about all this but I think most will get the picture.
Plain and simple ,, New members dont see the big :nod: "Welcome to RCTECH were glad to have you on your site please stop in and saw hello""" :nod: kinda thing.
I apologize if I made anyone mad with this post and mods you guys are over worked and underpaid so it is just a suggestion!!
