Hello folks I need some help. I bought a motor off ebay " someone kick me in the nuts" An sts .30 just broke in. When I got the motor i noticed that the piston was broken the pin was out and 2 small pieces were laying in the case so there is nothing to hold the pin. I was wondering if anyone has a piston for this? I found one on ebay but it is hong kong. Do you guys think this is worth fixing?

Any imput would be great!!!

If you don't want to purchase from hong kong (I wouldn't either). They have parts for STS engines at www.nitrocountryrc.com

Good Luck, how much did you pay for the engine? You will probably need a piston/sleeve, con rod, wrist pin. After you buy all that you could almost buy a new engine. What I would do is buy a new STS .30 and keep the broken one as parts but you can do what you want.
