Default Anyone have a Losi 8, but would rather have an RC8?

If so...... we should talk.

I have an 8T and it would help me greatly to just have both my truggy and buggy be Losi for parts reasons.

Looking for someone that wants to do roller/roller.

$300 rolling chassis

Too much money in it to sell complete, and I need the parts anyways. World class buggy though,

Losi regulator - $25
Losi Lipo - $50
Spektrum receiver - $75
JR z9100s throttle - $115
JR z9100t steering - $115
Novarossi plus 21-5k - $350
Drake header and pipe - $145
------------------------------------
$875
+ RC8 $469
-----------------
$1345 total

Runs great, I just need parts compatibility when out on the track incase I need to steal something off another one between mains. Found that out when I broke a rear hub on my truggy last week.

Since I have a few more other race vehicles I can continue to use my gear, so just selling as a roller for $300 works better for me.

requested pics here. I broke it down after practice last night and cleaned it, but I'll break it down again for roller pics tonight. I use a cleaner called "tuff stuff" which leaves a light residue on the screws after it's dried, just incase anyone is looking at them. It brushes off with your finger.

Our track is very groomed and clean so it doesn't get beaten on at all.

Here's our track: http://www.rctech.net/forum/showthread.php?t=218014

I just realized something I should probably specify.

As it should be obvious this is a pro race roller, and not the RTR as indicated by all the hop ups on it. I run a pro race roller truggy and have seen the RTR version and was not pleased, so I should clarify that unless there is something nice and juicy included that would convince me I should swap for an RTR (which I have no intentions of doing), I am looking strictly for a race roller Losi 8, which can be a converted RTR if it has all been properly upgraded.

Thanks

Dave you gave me a shout first so you can make the call later when you get home on what you might want to to, then I have two others speaking to me in PM about a straight purchase.

Thanks

Hey there,

If you can sell it outright, by all means, don't wait for me, just take the cash. I will email you after the weekend, and if you still have it, maybe we can work something out.

Thanks
Dave

Well at the moment I am thinking of selling my brand new roller and trading my used roller. So either way I should have at least one.

I've been waiting throughout today for someone that hasn't called back so I may end up going to the first person that follows through.

In the mean time if anyone has some pics to share of a trade please pm me for an address to send them to if you do not have them uploaded.

Cole if you can shoot some pics over and tell me where you are located we'll get to talking.

Thanks!
