Default F/S OR F/T EB Modd V-Spec

All,

I have a USED but in GREAT SHAPE EB Modd V-Spec. This motor has been run with ONLY a HALF a gallon of 30% percent Nitrotane fuel through it. This engine is strong, fast and clean. I would like to get $280.00 plus shipping to the upper 48 states but will take offers that are serious. I will trade for a .28 in like condition. I have some pics below.

Steve,

This EB Mods is a 07' and from what i understand OS fixed the problem in the bearings. Second, EB Mods replaces the rear bearing with a ceramic bearing at the factory. The V-specs dont have a warranty...Sorry.

The with all due respect to you sir please allow me a question. You offer a nearly new .21 that interests me VERY much for a .28 engine in like condition. I believe that I have that engine. My question is simply why would you sell a nearly new EB Mod V-Spec? Again, I am trying to ask my question with ALL due respect to your ad and understand the stance of the seller. Is it something as simple as you needing a .28 engine and have this for leverage or is it a disliking for the one you already own.

I assure you that I am not 'kicking tires' or 'squatting on your thread' but am genuinely interested in aquiring this power plant. My concerns are many but let us start with something simple like "why?". Welcome to RCTech and I look forward to your response.

Wolverini,

That is a great question! And honestly i have been struggling with why im going to a .28. I have a few buddies that are sponsored and they use .28's. When i have used this EB Mod around them they have alittle more grunt, but not as much top end. At my local track, more low end is needed. I wish i could keep this EB Mod but i think a .28 may be better.

I know that perspective all too well. I have a Ninja .21 and a Dynamite Platinum .28 in my two racing rigs and I can say first hand that a .21 has much faster spool up and is considered "quicker" in many circles. I've run at two tracks for the most part and they couldn't be farther away from each other in their overall driving challenge. One is very small with a TON of 180 degree turns while the other has flowing corners and TONS of big air covering 180 feet square. That's where I found that my Ninja isn't always the best plant to have in my CRTZ even though it's "faster" than any engine I've owned. Some times you just can't beat the "grunt" of a good .28 engine and good clutch tuning. I'd be interested in that .21 of yours if you're wanting more "grunt" out of the corners though.

Do you have any history anywhere in selling/trading/buying online? And what state are you in. If you'd like to move this to a PM that is fine by me. I'm one of those guys that dig deep, look hard and not scared to pick up a phone when it comes to sending money/product out the door. If all of this is agreeable to you then I'd be game for a chat on the phone at your convenience. My history in this site should speak for itself but the link is under my name on the left and in a URL in my signature. Maybe we can work something out for you bro.
