If the bearing is going out it could have caused some internal damage. Was it the front or rear bearing? did you take it apart and inspect the casing? If you want to get rid of them and know one else will buy it, I'll give you $50 for it. I'll have to put in a new decent ceramic bearing which will cost at least $40 and I'll have to get it repinched which is about $50. let me know.

Not quite....

A ceramic bearing from TKO via AmainHobbies, is around 22.00 bucks...and an excellent pinch can be made myself or Rayaracing.com. I use his equipment which returns the engine to tapered-pinch. And we do it for 20.00 bucks.

So, you could get that engine refreshed for 42.00 bucks not 90.00.....

ckt111, send/pm me pics if it looks good externally, I'll take it....

I've had bearings replaced before on a motor from TKO and they recomend, if you replace the front, to replace the rear. I got a hookup deal on a P5 for $40. It would have normally cost $60. that includes labor. I don't have the tool to pull out the bearing and replace it. If that bearing doesn't come out right it can cause even more damage then good. Also for a repinch I use a guy that I've used before and he normally hooks me on that price.

Bmerc, with all do respect this isnt ebay where we low ball people on good stuff.
I can personally vouch for this guys stuff as I race with him and have purchased a motor from him.
$100 for a 07 vspec if I didnt have three right now I would buy it.
Someone buy this motor..

With regard to that pinch price, the dude is more than hooking you up. He's hooking you up and hanging you out to dry...

As I state, Rayaracing.com which has the best equipment out there charges half that.... You need to find a new "pinch" guy....
