RC Stands
 

Hey guys, ive recently got fed up with the lack of good 1/10th scale stands available, and so I decided to make my own. After showing up at the race track with a few for my cars, the other racers have been asking if I would make them some. Ive done that, and its been a hit! So ive been thinking, and im to the point where I think I can make a few for anyone who is looking for an car stand. Below are some pictures of what my stands look like, I have them in all shapes, sizes, and attachments!

(The stand below is what ill be calling my "Ultra Low" version. It is an inch and half off of the ground. Its made out of light weight metal, and has been polished, it has rubber strips on top and bottom. Allthough the strips look slick, trust me the car does not move so you can work on it without having to hold the stand from moving. The best thing is that it WILL NOT scratch your chassis!)

I would also like to add that I plan on having many attachments for the stands, and the v1 stands will not come predrilled for the attachments. We will drill and install attachments for free, if you are and prevous buyer, all you have to do is cover the shipping. Some attachments include;

Rear Mount Motor Fan
Side Mount Motor Fan
Magnitized Clip or Screw Holder
Switch For Fan
Ect...

You will be able to get the fans in any color, and in led. Ill have prices and pictures once I get everything back from the powder coater.

Ill try my best to have the pictures of all of the sizes, and a few different cars on each stand just to show how well the stand works with all cars! Hopefully by the end of Monday if all goes well.

Basically I need 2 stands as close to "Tamiya" blue as possible. One the same as your picture posted for the ultra low sedan...then one for a Tamiya mini. Approx 90mm (3.5in.)wide and 250mm (9.875in.) long for the mini. Here is a pic of the color..and I know this is anodized but just for reference.

Ok I can do that, I know exactly what color you are talking about. Then you need for me to make you a stand that will fit the Tamiya Mini? My buddy has a Mini and so I can make a stand that will fit perfect for it! Ill shoot you a Pm just to make sure we are on the same page.

Any ways the strips have a thickness of .100;
With the Mini having the 'V' shapped chassis, ill have to go to a thicker strip most likly, but ill play around with it since I can get one on my hands! Ill have some pictures for everyone to see within the next day or two.

I have two M-chassis Tamiyas & a TRF 414 with the anodized blue parts Ty... you can use them for reference if needed. I'll need one of my stands to fit the M-chassis as well ;)

All PM's replied to now guys, I cant thank you enough for the support. Ok here is my game plan for tonight, im going to be making the v2 stands tonight, get them all cut out and drilled. (Have pre-dilled holes for the attachments) Then tommorow ill bend them and hopefully be getting them to the powder coater so that we can have stands avialable in a wide color range ready to be shipped. Ill be home later tonight, if you have any questions PM me and ill get back to you in the morning!
