Competition Electronics TURBODYNO!

I have a mint Competition Electronics Turbo Dyno. Those in the know, know this is the baddest of the bad.....best dyno period. If you ever wondered what brushes and springs do to your performance, or u need that last 3-5% of power out of your motors...this is the machine. This is the original Turbo Dyno, it comes with the HP infared printer..the dyno and motor pod...a freshly rebuilt slave motor .....and a Power Source 45AMP power supply. ALL ITEMS ARE MINT CONDITION. Perfect working order. I am not in a rush to sell this and it will go to Ebay if I don't get what I'm asking for it. Price is $500 firm...This setup would have cost well over $1000 new. I will ship in the lower 48 only and buyer to pay for shipping and insurance(I stronly reccomend). Any ???s [email protected]

1 fast...you are thinking of the Turbo 30 or 35 CHARGER not dyno...they only made one model dyno

1fastdude 03-13-2003 08:46 AM

No they made two different models.

They made the TurboDyno 30 and 45...

I wish I was in the market for one of these right now. From the sounds of this it seems to be a 45.

Hey All

They made a 30 AMP and 45 AMP dyno... You can still upgrade it to the 45 AMP from them, but I don't know what the cost would be from them now(well this was last year).

Have Fun!!!

This is the original 30 amp version....I recently spoke to Competition Electronics' owner and he said the upgrade to 45 amp would cost $80......This is mainly for testing stockers and 19turns, but I have also checked many mods.....U just can't test the motor over 30 amps. I have learned a LOT from this dyno and now I would like to pass to another dedicated rc'er. You can also make it a stealth backlit version for another $50. Remember this is $800 new for just the dyno...the HP printer was another $150, and the Power supplys are at least $200 new. Most Turbodyno 30s go for $400 or so on ebay and thats without a Power Supply...U need at least a 30amp power supply, but the Power Source brand 45amp is what CE personally recommend. This will go to Ebay on Monday.
