For sale: one clean, well-maintained Savage XL! This beast has a 5.9 c.i. engine, 8 shocks, 3-speed transmission, and beefy everything. I upgraded it with CVD axles to replace the dogbone drives that came on it stock.

The truck will come with the original transmitter and receiver, though I recommend replacing them as they are AM radio and prone to interference with the nitro engine. It will also include the Rotostart, glow plug igniter/charger and whatever random spare parts I've accumulated.

Real talk for a moment: while the engine ran fine and had no issues last time I started it, there is one design weakness in this truck. If you stored it level after running, the oils from the fuel would collect in the one-way bearing in the engine, making it spin freely and not engage with the Rotostart. This required you to remove the engine, clean the bearing of any residual lubricant, and reinstall before firing the truck up again if you forgot to store it with the rear up in the air at around a 45 degree angle. So I'm assuming this truck will need to have that done before you try and start it again.

Otherwise, there's nothing wrong that I know of and everything should be healthy. It's probably a good idea to go through the engine anyway to clean and ensure the seals are good, since I haven't run it for a couple of years.

I'm asking $150 plus shipping, and since this thing is giant, please don't ask me to eat the shipping. I'm willing to work out something if it's going all the way across the country, but not the entire cost.
